A Guy's Perspective
I do not know, I can't understand,
What makes us go crazy from your simple demands?
It appears so innocent, such a simple request,
To pick up some tampons and a soap bar of Zest.
Nothing can deflate a big ego or bring on a sweat,
Like holding your purse while you shop with Annette.
The fault is not ours with all the tension and stress,
We know how to answer, "How do I look in this dress?"
Yet you keep up the argument, "Does this make me look fat?"
And we think to ourselves, "No, it's your cute tushie which does that."
Though the worst to endure is to just sit here and wait,
You were just dropped off at an all ladies play date.
Oh to be golfing or fishing and a barbeque too,
We wish there was something, anything, that all of us could do.
Next time will be different, next time I won't stew,
Next time I drop off my lady, I will do something with my 'Crew'.
